A commercial insurance producer since 1979, Jay Peterson learned the business alongside his father and agency founder, Corky Peterson. Jay guided the transition in 2009 as Peterson Insurance was joined by long-time Clinton insurer Starkey Insurance Agency. Today, Jay serves a clientele that spans several states, providing asset protection and risk management services. He is a long-standing member and past president of the Independent Farm Insurance Agents of Illinois, and is a Partner in the Central Illinois Agents Group, LLC. and Region 3 Director for the IIA of Illinois.
